Ride along the north rim of the Black Canyon; explore the tiny mountain towns that you ride out to; Enjoy our friendly locals and festivals; Mostly come and get in some great miles on new routes.

The GOAL, should you accept the mission:
To collect a Six Pack of Out and Back Rides from Gunnison. Upon completion of each ride, stop by one of our Gunnison Bike Shops or the Gunnison Visitor Center to pick up and have your affidavits signed. When you've finished all 6 rides, we'll send your certificate of completion!

Gunnison is a great place to enjoy the summer and fall biking.

Gunnison is like a wagon wheel hub offering wonderful Out & Back Ride Opportunities for road bikers. See our map and get acquainted with the area.
Starting point- anywhere in the city limits of Gunnison or from one of the motels or lodges in the outlying area.

1. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park Rides
~ Gunnison to Crawford & Back - 140 miles. Over the Black Mesa - GOLD.
~ Gunnison to Poineer Point & Back - 64 miles - SILVER.
~ Gunnison to Lake Fork Marina - 32 miles - BRONZE.

• There are restaurants in Crawford or shorter rides stop at Pappy's restaurant at the Marina on the Blue Mesa Lake.
